Synopsis

THE FACE OF THE CHIMERA Jason Todd is threatened by Chimera, but he manages to escape and spends most of the next day trying to find the person that the criminal might have disguised himself as, but his efforts are futile as he can't find any clue that would lead him to the crook.   Meanwhile in Gotham City, Commissioner Gordon is hospitalized after he suffered a stroke and falls into a deep coma that doctors are not sure if he will ever come back. All the while in Guatemala, Vicki Vale find an informant, who tells her about a certain crime ring in the area and the ace photographer decides to investigate and solve the case.  Later, the circus opens its doors and a new show starts. Jason takes the chance to investigate at his friend, Waldo's trailer and he finally finds Chimera, disguised as Batman. The real Dark Knight also appears and combining their forces, Jason and Batman defeat the criminal and bring him to justice after they have saved Jason's friend, Waldo. After this demonstration of detective skills and fighting abilities, Batman reconsiders the decision to give Jason a chance to prove himself as his partner. SHELTER FROM THE STORM Green Arrow prevents the silos from completely opening with his magnetic arrows, and blasts the apparatus that sends power to the missile detonators. Then he trails the Survivalist and his men through the sewers near the base, but is discovered along with a forager and, after learning the Survivalist wishes to trigger a nuclear war, is held at gunpoint.
